Description for State patrol trails
State patrol trail system is a network of single track that winds through the sage and tumble weeds that define the Tri-cities area. The route that I mapped is well marked (signs posted as Woods, Freeway, and Xcut) ant there are many other routes in the area. Every trail leads to the damn so you can't get lost. There is a central trail with many jumps and drops that have been built by the local air enthusiasts. This is the best (sadly) that the Tri-cities has to offer for mountain biking.
Directions to State patrol trails Trailhead
Take 395 from Kennewick towards I-82. Turn off on Law Ln to the State Patrol across from Southridge High School. Park at the end of the short turn off.
