Great trails in secluded area with tons of wildlife.
Directions to New Bern Water Trailhead
Park in a nearby neighborhood called West Crossroads right at the intersection of highways 43 and 55. Ride back to the pond and you'll find the entrance to the trail.

I couldn't get the map to accurately reflect the ride. As I mentioned the ride starts behind my neighborhood called West Crossroads (43&55 split). It is right near the Bosch plant on Neuse Blvd. I've seen everything from Bald Eagle to thousands of turtle and fish jumping out of the water. There is a pond behind a old folks home where you enter the trails. It's very relaxing and not really meant for anything more than a ride with the spouse and dog. Our dog absolutely loves it and I hit these trails for both mountain biking and jogging.
