Description for A Mountain
A Mountain bike trail in Las Cruces New Mexico is a great mountain bike trail for anyone living in La Cruces, it is very close to town. The A Mountain trail has a few lung busting climbs that can me very technical. There is plenty of rocky technical singletrack on this trail and plenty of washed out sandy roads. The A Mountain trail is approximately 3.5 miles but you can easily get 10 miles out of these by connecting some of the other trails on and around A Mountain.
Directions to A Mountain Trailhead
To get to A Mountain mountain bike trail take I-25 north or south to the University NMSU Campus, exit 1 in Las Cruces. Go east on University Avenue and follow it till A Mountain is to your right. Once you reach the north side of the mountain, there are two areas where cars can be parked; the most common is the second one as you go east. Ride it don’t slide it.
