Description for Save Otero Canyon
This ride starts at Tunnel Trail Head. This is a single track ride that weaves up the mountains and through the canyons. It is mix of hard pack and loose rocky sections. There will be hike-a-bike sections. There are many different routes to take since trails are every where. This is a sample loop.
Directions to Save Otero Canyon Trailhead
Ride up the trail from Tunnel Trail Head. At the first fork you can right or left. If you go left you will drop into the Otero Canyon. Ride up the canyon. At the top veer to right and catch the trail at the top of the ridge. It will begin working its way north back to where you began. If you went right at the top of Tunnel you will be riding the loop in the other direction.
