Description for Faulty Trail
This is a shuttle ride of Tree Springs and Faulty Trail combined together. This ride is mostly single track through the forest. Tree Springs has some very rocky terrain at intermediate to advanced levels, but it can be hiked. When you reach Faulty you will be climbing. Faulty trail is nice single track with some rocky areas but mostly fast flowy single track with a few intense climbs. Overal mileage is somewhere between 13 and 14.
Directions to Faulty Trail Trailhead
Park one vehicle at Ribs in Cedar Creast and drive the other vehicle up to the Tree Springs parking lot almost at the top of the Sandias. Ride the service road accross the top of Sandia Ski Resort. On the south side of the peak is where the trail starts. Head down from there. Stay on Tree Springs and follow the trail markers until you come to the Faulty Trail marker which is just above the Doc Long's parking area.
