Description for Packer Meadows Loop
A very easy 5.5-mile loop high in Lolo Pass encircling Packer Meadows.
Keep your eyes peeled for black bears and wolves.
Directions to Packer Meadows Loop Trailhead
From I-90 in Missoula, take the Reserve St. exit (Exit 101).
South on Reserve (Rt. 93) until intersection with Brooks where Rt. 93 bears right onto Brooks St. and combines with Rt. 12.
Folow this highway thru Lolo to intersection where Rt. 12 turns right onto Lolo Creek Rd.
Follow Rt. 12 on Lolo Creek Rd. all the way to Lolo Pass (31 miles?).
Park at Lolo Pass Visitors Center.
