Description for ESU trails
The trail has some nice technical turns, roots, climbs, and change in terrain. The outside trail is a overall good ride. The inner trail has all your technical challenges. You will ride up, over, and around big slabs of concrete that was dumped all around the trail.
Directions to ESU trails Trailhead
Go to the last street on HWY 99 before getting on HWY35 and go behind the collage. You will see a tunnel that goes under the highway. You can drive through or park in the lot just outside. On the other side you will see baseball dimonds to the right and a double gate next to a fenced in city storage to the left. To the left is where the trail starts.

The trail starts out at a double gate near a fenced in storage for the city. I like to begin following the river. you will come to a drainage creek and circle around it. You will ride a high bank turn and head for some nice jumps. Staying along the river the trail will give you a peaceful ride with some harry turns and a the guardrail bridge. Follow the trail under HWY 99 bridge to the other side. You can open her up here. The trail winds around and loops back to the bridge. Back to the main trail go to the right along 99. When you come to another gate take the trail to the left. This is where you find the BMX style trail and the technical concrete slabs to ride up,over, and around. After getting through all that the trail heads back into the woods. There are some nice challenges all along the way. You wind around one more time through the woods and come back out by the second set of gates. Follow the trail through the open field back to where you started. Now switch it up and have a blast. It's a great ride.
