Description for Heritage Trail
This is not the most demanding trail in the world, but if you are a novice or have children, this IS one of the best trails in the world. Mostly flat, crushed limestone trail with a few bridges and lots of nature around you. Used to be an old train route, so you have an idea of how flat it must be. It is a 26 mile trail that goes from Dubuque Iowa to Dyersville, Iowa and also through a few smaller towns where you can stop for a bite to eat, or just take a break. Not very challenging, but still worth the ride.
Directions to Heritage Trail Trailhead
Trailhead near Heritage Pond on the corner of Rupp Hollow Rd and HWY 52 North. It is about 2 miles north of the city of Dubuque, Iowa.
