Description for Hard Guy
Hard Guy trail is a long grind up a 6 mile singletrack. There are a few steep sections, all ride able though. Once you reach the top, you could take a right on the road or head back down. If you choose to head back down, it is a long, screaming descent, with constant great views of Boise and beyond. Blazing fast singletrack with some doubletrack mixed in. The decent is not very technical, but super fast. Hard Guy Trail has plenty of water bars to keep you on your toes. I would ride up the Bogus Basin access road; take a right over the gate, then take a left onto Hardguy trail. Be sure to also check out Hull's Gulch, and Bob's Trail.
Directions to Hard Guy Trailhead
To get to Hard Guy Trail from downtown Boise, drive up 15th street to Hill Road. Take a left onto Hill Road and then a right at the first light onto Bogus Basin Road. Just past all the antennas on the right is the parking area for Hard Guy trailhead.
