What gear ratio does everyone ride? I ride a 32x20 on a 29er. I guess that it similar to a 32x18 on a 26er, is that true? |

"I ride a 34x20 on a 29er"
Me, too, on my 29er. On my 69er, I was riding 32:20 but when I put it back in the dirt (been riding it as a 26er commuter 42:16) I'll be going to 32:19 or back to 32:20 and riding my 29er at 34:19. Anyone ever try off road fixie? It's a blast! |

I was riding a 32x20 on the SS but I destroyed my chainring and they only had a 34 at the LBS so that's what I got. I switched to a downhill chainring because they are much stronger without the added weight. I might switch back to a 32 or just ride more and get stronger. |

29er - 32:20 - I seem to spin out quite a bit but it sure is nice for the climbs around here. |

32x20 works perfect for the climbs around Southern California. My local ride have a bunch of short and steep climbs. |
