Is there any good trails in Temecula? |

Is there any trails at all? I drive through Temecula on I-15 a lot and see some great looking mountains but cannot find anything about rides in Temecula (other than Santa Margarita River trail). There has to be some good trails in that area. Any info would be appreciated. |

The only place I have ridden out there is Vail Lake. It was for one of the 12 hour races. I don't think they do them out there anymore and I don't know if you can ride there or not. Sorry I don't have more information for you. Hopefully someone else will chime in. |

I just rode Vail Lake this past weekend. It was nice. It seemed like we were the only ones out there. I added the 3 mile loop we did to this site. We ended up riding over 8 miles of just exploring. There seems to be an extensive network of trails out there and I wouldn't mind hitting those trails again. |
