Here it is in a nut shell, I spent 2 hours setting up the suspension on this bike. I set it up very close to recomended specs.by setting sag first. The way I tuned the bike was to make sure I could not bottom out the suspension and that both front and rear collapsed at the same rate, I think this is where alot of guys go wrong. You do not want front or rear to react at different rates. This bike with the 426 rev front end and the float R is plush but precise. Balance of this bike is perfect I weigh 180lbs and I ran the rear at 195 psi, front + at 140 psi and the front - at 135 the rebound I set until front and rear matched rise rate.( 6" travel frt & rr & XL frame ) Fine tuning was done on the trail. Everything they say about this system is true, it is a no BOB system. You will feel the suspension on climbs but you will not loose power throughout your peddle stroke. I tried to break this bike and it will not let it happen. This thing wants you to go faster, attack harder until you have had enough. The bike has a very light feel for its weight and is balanced very well. This model has a Sram S 9 drive train an it is awsome. I will leave you with this I pulled up to the same stairs ( 10 stairs ) that I usually ride down stair by stair on my cannondale F3 and I backed up about 30 ft sprinted and jumped to the landing. It felt like I was on a cadilac... The cannondale is being pushed to the garage and placed on ebay. Should anyone have any questions about GT Idrive or 2.0 Force feel free to post up questions I will try to help.
