Where is the good single track in the LA area?

 Every where I go in the LA/Inland Empire area I have to compete with horses and hikers.
Where's all of the tucked away single track that is meant for serious mountain biking?

 You need to check out the San Juan trail. It is a bit south of LA but worth the drive. It is amazing singletrack, fun technical sections, switchbacks. It has it all.

 Tha Santa Ana River Trail is great epic single track ride. Its in the Big Bear area, but it is a cross country type trail. If you ride from the bottom up its a good climb.

 How were the trail conditions? I saw a post on MTBR that indicated there were quite a few downed trees on the connecter that drops off from the post office.

 There were a lot of trees, which kind of stunk. I probably had to climb over 8 or so. Other than that everything was perfect.

 Cool, I will probably wait until June or so before I hit the trail. If you didn't ride the single track section that drops off behind the Cafe and Post Office make sure you catch it next time. Its several miles of down, twisty fun single track.
