Hi there, I just moved to San Diego and am interested in getting started with biking. Any recommendations on what equipment I would need to get up and running and an idea of the cost? Also, what are some good newbie trails? |

Hello All I am new to Mountain biking and live in fontana..I am looking for some newbie trails in the area(I live two blocks from the southridge trail) and was told it is very technical so want to start off somewhere else... any suggestions? |

I have ridden Bonelli Park and it was pretty easy. There is a 10-mile loop around the whole park with some short but semi-steep climbs. There are, however, some really easy, short, and fun trails for beginners. They hold the "Muddy Buddy" race here every year. Mostly dirt roads but there are a few singletrack sections.
