Description for Sly Park
Started at the camp grounds, where we parked our car and jumped on the bike/hiking trail. Heads up parking is $10 and there is free street parking available. Clock-wise route. The first few miles are pretty steep in some areas, did some walking of the bike, I was with a total beginner. Right at about mile 2 into our ride, near damn #2 there is a waterfall worth checking out, on the left going clock-wise (alot of the reviews I have read give directions going counter clock-wise saying its on the right. The next 5 miles or so are pretty fun, not too technical single track terrain with a few trail heads you can take. A few 9-12 feet plateaus that you really have to get on your bike in order to reach or you might have to walk your bike up. We stayed close to the lake the entire ride. About 3 hours of riding with a few stops. Semi-experienced riders can easily finish this course in 2 hours.
Directions to Sly Park Trailhead
