Description for Black Mountain
If you like to work for your miles one pedal stroke at a time this is the place for you. This is an out and back. Climb, climb, climb, descend, technical descend, and then turn around and repeat. The single track portion is fun but Miner's Loop is lung buster. Everything is climbable with some practice but you are going to earn it. Nighthawhk is rocky but ridable. The new connector trail is nice and wide.
Directions to Black Mountain Trailhead
Start at the Hilltop Park and head up Nighthawk trail. Follow the trail up to the connector over to Miner's Loop. Miner's Loop can be riden in both directions. If you go left you will a have a small section of hike a bike. If you go right its down. Coming back you will have to work for it with some good challenging sections.
