Description for Marshall Canyon
The great thing about Marshall Canyon is that you can ride it if you have an hour on your lunch break, or if you have 6 hours on a Saturday. There is plenty of single track to explore, and none of it takes you too far off the main fireroads. You wouldn't know it though with all of the trees and river crossings. On a Saturday, watch out for the multitudes of XC runners (sometimes they climb faster than you). Always watch out for horses. The terrain can be loose and rocky at times. Have fun exploring.
Directions to Marshall Canyon Trailhead
You can park at a few spots. The map shows a start at the end of Stephens Ranch Rd. Park in the dirt lot at the top there. The other places to park are where the ride is marked "end" off of Esperanza, or at the elementary school on Wheeler. If you aren't sure where to go from there, ask one of the many mountain bikers, runners, horseback riders, or hikers for directions.
