Description for Snow Summit
This is lift access mountain biking. Many of the trails are essential fall lines, meaning they are steep, loose and extremely rocky. Half of the riding will consist of fire roads to access the single track trails. There are no trail signs, just paths that head into the trees. The trails furthest east of the lift flow the best. The trails near the lift are nearly straight down the mountain. The trails to the west are the same. Beginners should stick to the fire roads. There were a lot of guys riding downhill specific bikes, but it was not necessary if you have good bike handling skills.
Directions to Snow Summit Trailhead
Catch the lift to the top. You can buy your lift pass at the lift. Go either east or west. If you follow the bike tracks you will find the trails. Snow Summit's website has a trail map but it only provides general trail guidance. There are more trails than what are shown on the map.
