Description for Bell Rock Pathway
Bell Rock Pathway is a great beginner trail ride in Sedona, AZ. It is relatively flat and smooth. It parallels Highway 179 and runs in-between the highway and Bell Rock. There are amazing views of Cathedral Rock, Little Bell, Twin Buttes, Four Flying Apaches, Courthouse Butte and many more. If you start at the Village of Oak Creek Trailhead ride following through the fenced trail taking your first left heading straight to Bell Rock. You will be gently climbing around the left side of Bell Rock for about 1 mile. At the top of the climb stay right at the base of Bell Rock heading towards courthouse Butte. You will come to a junction after a 1\2 mile stay left. 2 more miles and you will come to the Little Horse Trail Head. From here you can return the way you came or hit Cathedral Rock Loop via HT Trail, Llama trail, or Broken Arrow/Mystic Trail. Directions to Bell Rock Pathway Trailhead
Bell Rock Pathway is just south of Sedona in the Village of Oak Creek To get to Bell Rock Pathway trail head from Phoenix head north on 17 towards Sedona. Exit 179 to Sedona. Trailhead is about 8 miles on the right, after Bell Rock Blvd. and a Circle K. From Flagstaff just head south on 89 to 179 and then to the same parking lot. You can also come down 17 and then up 179, I never know which is faster, I guess it just matters what kind of mood you are in. Parking pass required ($5): Available at pay station, ranger office, or Circle K store.

This is a warm up trail. That gives you access to the other trails. Ride with caution many tourist out taking photos.
